Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo - Arrival

Upon arrival to Cairo International Airport you will meet your tour leader inside the arrival area. Your tour leader will then assist you through the airport formalities (arrival procedures) and then accompany you on a private air conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Your tour leader will complete the check-in procedure with you and take a moment of your time to review your holiday itinerary

Day 2: Cairo - Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, your qualified Egyptologist will meet you at your hotel with a modern air conditioned vehicle. The Egyptologist will be guiding you throughout the duration of the trip today to some of the most amazing historical sites in Egypt. Enjoy the civilization of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus of Giza which are erected on a rocky plateau on the west bank of the Nile River near Giza in Cairo. In ancient times they were included amongst the Seven Wonders of the World, Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates from the time of Chephren, the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple facing the great statue and then you will be transferred to enjoy the Egyptian Museum where you can see the collection of Tutankhamen amongst other splendid pharaonic artefacts which is said to exceed more than 120,000 items on display

Day 3: Cairo – Islamic & Coptic Areas

After your breakfast, a qualified Egyptologist will collect you from your hotel and accompany you for the duration of this tour in a modern air conditioned vehicle. Your Egyptologist will be showing you some of the fascinating historical sites in Egypt. Enjoy a spiritual day tour to the Islamic and Coptic sites in Cairo starting with The Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan, which is a massive Mamlukera mosque and madrassa located near the Citadel in Cairo. , Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Srga Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, and then move to visit The City of the Dead, or Cairo Necropolis an Arabic necropolis and cemetery below the Mokattam Hills in south-eastern Cairo, then transfer to Alexandria by private air-conditioned bus and check-in at the hotel.

Day 4: Alexandria – Quaitbay Fort, Alexandria Library & Montazah Palace

Today you will venture north and visit the famous city of Alexandria. Take an early start and enjoy your breakfast earlier than usual, then make your way to the reception are to meet your fully qualified Egyptologist at the pre-arranged time. The Egyptologist will accompany you to a modern air conditioned vehicle which will be with you all day, so if you would like to bring some water and snacks along, you are more than welcome. Our qualified Egyptologist will be guiding you throughout the duration of the tour today to some of the superb sites within one of the most amazing cities in Egypt. Move to visit the Alexandria Library, which contain copy of approximate every book published in the world. This makes the library one of the great literary sites in the world. Continue to Quaitbay citadel, situated on the entrance to Alexandria’s eastern harbour where the place was exact of the famous Lighthouse. Move to visit the Montazah Palace; it was built on a low plateau east of central Alexandria overlooking a beach on the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 5: North Coast – El Alamein & Marsa Matruh

Take an early start and enjoy your, then meet your fully qualified Egyptologist at the pre-arranged time. The Egyptologist will accompany you to a modern air conditioned vehicle which will be with you all day. Our qualified Egyptologist will be guiding you throughout the duration of the tour today to some sites from World War II remains and cemeteries, and then you will also visit the Military Museum which includes the old weapons, tanks, flights, and bikes used in the World War. Also the descriptions actions of Montgomery, Rommel and the others participated in the battle are all on display. Move to visit the World War Cemeteries where you will see the citadel looks like cemeteries is the final resting place for Common wealth, Greek, Italian and German soldiers, then transfer to Marsa Matruh by bus and check-in at the hotel.

Day 6: North Coast - Agiba Beach & Rommel's Cave

After breakfast, the qualified Egyptologist will be waiting to greet you in the reception of your hotel at the pre-agreed time to start today’s adventure across the coastline to Marsa Matrouh. Simply sit back in your private air conditioned vehicle and enjoy the commentary by the Egyptologist along the way and admire the Mediterranean Sea. Start your day at Agiba Beach, a stunningly picturesque beach speckled with amazing rock formations, followed by a visit to Rommel’s Cave, where the German commander would retreat at the end of the day to refine his military plans. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the charms of Marsa Matruh area, a waterfront town set on a spectacular Mediterranean bay of crystal clear seas and white sandy beaches and a key location in the battles of World War II.

Day 7: North Coast – Wadi El Natrun & Desert Valley

After breakfast, check out from your hotel then drive amidst striking, contrasting scenery and stark, rugged landscapes as you cross the desert on your way back to Cairo. En-route, stop at Wadi El Natrun. A lush oasis nestled in a Desert valley, to view one of its age-old Coptic monasteries and learn about the Coptic faith, arrive to Cairo. After that you will discover one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East which is called Khan El Khalil.
Overnight: Cairo Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Day 8: Cairo - Departure Day

After breakfast at your hotel, usually you have some free time to enjoy your last remaining hours in Cairo before your flight. It is customary to check out of your room at 12 noon however you will be able to use the hotel facilities until you leave for the airport. At the agreed time your tour leader will come to collect you from the hotel and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departing flight
