What do I need to bring?
Not much, remember our trips are all inclusive. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and a day pack to carry extra snacks and water.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable. It is recommended to have a sturdy pair of broken-in comfortable shoes, boots, or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that is suitable for the warm environment whilst visiting temples and tombs.
Do I have to make a reservation or can I just show up?
Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.
How much does it cost to do a private tour?
Most of the tours listed on our website are private, unless otherwise stated. You will find all the information clearly within the tour descriptions. However, please do contact us to get the latest information for a private tour on your desired trip.
Should I print a receipt to show the tour guide?
We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you're traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show ID matching your reservation and also the Order # that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation.
Are we going sightseeing when it is warm?
We do go sightseeing in all temperatures. Remember that in Summer the country can be very warm, yet slightly milder in the Winter.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
It is important to contact us as soon as possible should you have to cancel. If it is over or under 30 days we will refund to you the full balance minus any flight ticket costs plus $50 administration fee. Additionally, for cancellations under 30 days we will contact our suppliers for refunds and refund to you only the percentage they give to us minus any bank fees. There are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of your tour, or if you decide not to show up.
Are there any extra fees that I will have to pay on top of the listed price?
No, we do not charge any extra fees or fuel surcharges. The listed price is the price you pay. Including tax. However, you will find it clearly stated within each tour of any extras you will need to pay, before or in-resort.

The police and the military have several accessible checkpoints wherever you go, giving you a feel of being in secure surroundings. Besides, people are friendly and helpful. To make your trip safer for you, Tour Operators are required to represent your whole travel itinerary in Egypt to the authorities with all your personal information as name, passport number and nationality. This allows the police to secure the areas that will be visited beforehand.
Is Egypt safe to sole female travellers?
